Random Fabulosity:
Simon designed the gallery set for Beverly Hills Cop starring Eddie Murphy. Simon appears in the Kim Carnes video for 'Bette Davis Eyes'. Simon worked for the legendary Diana Vreeland at The Costume Institute before joining Barneys New York, where he worked for 35 years. In 2010 Simon was commissioned by Target to design the season’s Halloween costumes.

Simon lives in Shelter Island and Florida with his partner, the ceramicist and designer Jonathan Adler and their rescue terrier Foxylady.
